Communication and writing
- Effective Communication and Active Listening (1 day). The everyday communication skills that decide whether work runs smoothly or creates rework and friction.
- Business Writing and Professional Email Etiquette (1 day). Writing that gets read, understood and acted on: structure, tone and the email habits that damage credibility, practised on learners' own documents.
- Report Writing and Technical Documentation (1 day). Reports and documentation that are accurate, easy to navigate and actually read, including executive summaries that stand alone.
- Copywriting and Persuasive Business Writing (1 day). Writing that moves people to act, applied to proposals, campaigns, web copy and internal business cases.
- Business English and Language Polish (1 day). More precise and confident professional English, spoken and written, focused on the situations that matter at work.
- Virtual Meeting and Telephone Etiquette (1 day). Being effective and professional on calls and video, covering both the technical setup and the human behaviour.
Presenting and influence
- Presentation Skills and Public Speaking (1 day). Building and delivering a presentation that holds a room, with video-recorded practice and individual coaching.
- Storytelling for Business Impact (1 day). Using narrative structure to make a message stick, including personal stories, customer stories and data storytelling.
- Negotiation and Influence Skills (1 day). Negotiating for durable agreements rather than short-term wins, with negotiations run and debriefed throughout.
- Assertiveness and Confidence at Work (1 day). Stating a position and holding it without aggression, rehearsed on situations learners genuinely find hard.
- Personal Branding and the Professional Self-Introduction (1 day). Saying who you are and why it matters, in ten seconds and in two minutes, including LinkedIn and profile work.
- Professional Networking and Relationship Building (1 day). Building a professional network deliberately and keeping it alive, including for people who find networking uncomfortable.
Personal effectiveness
- Time Management and Personal Productivity (1 day). Getting control of the working day: prioritisation, focus, delegation and digital habits, now including AI-assisted workflows.
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving (1 day). Thinking rigorously rather than quickly: structured problem solving, weighing evidence and the biases behind confident wrong answers.
- Emotional Intelligence at Work (1 day). Understanding and managing your own reactions at work and reading other people accurately in everyday situations.
- Resilience and Wellbeing at Work (1 day). Sustainable working practices and personal resilience. Practical and non-clinical: habits, boundaries and recovery.
- Interview Skills and Career Positioning (1 day). Presenting your capability credibly in a selection process, on both sides of the table.
- Professional Image, Grooming and Business Etiquette (1 day). How professional presentation is read by clients and colleagues: appearance, workplace conduct and business social situations.
Working with others
- Conflict Resolution and Managing Difficult Behaviour (1 day). Resolving conflict early rather than escalating it, and dealing with genuinely difficult behaviour without matching it.
- Cross-Cultural Communication and Global Business Etiquette (1 day). Working well across cultural difference in business, with practical guidance rather than stereotypes.
- Meeting Facilitation Skills (1 day). Turning meetings from a cost into a decision-making tool. Short, practical and quickly visible in the calendar.
- Customer Service Excellence (1 day). Service that keeps customers, including the recovery skills that turn a complaint into loyalty.
- Train-the-Trainer and Facilitation Fundamentals (2 days). Designing and delivering training that changes behaviour, using adult learning principles. Learners design and deliver real sessions with feedback.
- Team Building and Collaboration Lab (1 day). Structured activities with facilitated debriefs, each tied back to the team's real working relationships rather than left as a game.
Team culture
- High Performing Teams Workshop (1 day). What separates teams that perform from teams that merely get along: a working day on trust, conflict and accountability, using the participants' own team as the case.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration and Silo Breaking (1 day). Why departments that all want the company to succeed still obstruct each other. Participants map a real hand-off and redesign it.
- Psychological Safety and Speaking Up at Work (1 day). Building a team where problems surface early: what psychological safety is, what it is not, and the leader behaviours that create or destroy it.
- Working Across Cultures and Generations (1 day). Practical ground for teams that span nationalities, languages and age groups, focused on communication habits rather than stereotypes.
Choosing programmes for common needs
- Customer-facing teams: Customer Service Excellence, Effective Communication and Active Listening, and Conflict Resolution and Managing Difficult Behaviour.
- Technical and specialist teams: Report Writing and Technical Documentation, Presentation Skills and Public Speaking, and Meeting Facilitation Skills.
- Teams spread across countries: Cross-Cultural Communication and Global Business Etiquette, Working Across Cultures and Generations, and Virtual Meeting and Telephone Etiquette.
- Teams after a reorganisation or merger: High Performing Teams Workshop, Cross-Functional Collaboration and Silo Breaking, and Psychological Safety and Speaking Up at Work.
- Internal trainers and subject experts: Train-the-Trainer and Facilitation Fundamentals.
These are starting points. We confirm the mix after a short needs discussion.
What a session looks like
Most of the day is practice, not slides. Writers work on their own documents. Presenters practise on video and get individual feedback. Negotiators run and debrief simulations. Team programmes use the participants' own team as the case.
How the programmes run
Each programme is live and instructor-led, delivered by our founder, and run as a private cohort for your company. Sessions are practical and rehearsal-heavy: people practise on the situations, documents and conversations they deal with at work. Each is quoted per engagement.
In Malaysia the programmes run on site anywhere in the country or live online. Teams outside Malaysia can request them as private cohorts, live online. Delivered in English. Trainers for Arabic, Spanish, Bahasa Malaysia, German or French can be arranged for company cohorts on request.
Soft skills for managers and leaders
Managers need many of these skills plus the leadership ones: delegation, coaching, difficult conversations and leading change. Those twelve programmes, and our ICAgile leadership certifications, are on the leadership training page. Negotiation for buying teams is also covered in procurement training.
