ICAgile and AI Training in Poland

Poland's business services centres employ about 500,500 people, according to ABSL, and much of that work is now planning, analytics and process ownership rather than transactional back office tasks. At the same time only about 8% of Polish companies with ten or more staff used AI in 2025, so many teams are being asked to own outcomes and adopt AI in the same year.

Why teams in Poland come to us

Service centres moving up the value chain

ABSL reports that nearly 60% of the services delivered from Polish centres are knowledge intensive, and the biggest export markets are Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Switzerland. Teams that used to process work for a parent company now run end to end processes for it. That shift calls for facilitation, product thinking and stakeholder skills, not only process discipline.

A wide AI adoption gap

Eurostat puts Polish AI use at 8.36% of enterprises in 2025, against 19.95% across the EU. The national priorities for the 2026 National Training Fund (KFS) name digital skills and AI explicitly, which shows where public attention is going. Teams that learn to use AI safely in their daily work close that gap faster than tool rollouts alone.

A new national AI regulator

Poland's Act of 3 July 2026 on AI systems, published in the Journal of Laws on 27 July 2026, sets up the Commission for the Development and Security of Artificial Intelligence (KRiBSI) to supervise the EU AI Act in Poland. The AI Act already expects companies to make sure staff who use AI have enough AI literacy. Practical AI training gives managers and teams a shared, documented baseline as national supervision begins.

Funding and paying for training in Poland

Employers in Poland can apply to their county labour office (powiatowy urząd pracy) for National Training Fund (KFS) support, and from 1 January 2026 KFS funded training needs a provider listed in the Development Services Database (BUR), run by PARP. It is not confirmed whether a provider based outside Poland can be listed, so check with your county labour office and PARP before counting on it. Source.

Public ICAgile certification cohorts are listed in US Eastern and UK time on each course page. Most start at 8 AM US Eastern (1 PM UK time), which is 2 PM in Warsaw for most of the year, and 1 PM for a few weeks in March and around the start of November, while the clocks change on different dates. Cohorts that start at 12 PM US Eastern begin at 6 PM for most of the year, and 5 PM for a few weeks in March and around the start of November, while the clocks change on different dates.

The ICAgile AI micro-credentials, and a few certification cohorts, run on Singapore time from 1 PM, which is 7 AM in Warsaw from late March to late October and 6 AM from late October to late March.

What ICP means, and where to start

ICP stands for ICAgile Certified Professional. The letters after it name the topic, for example ICP-ACC for Agile Coaching. Agile Visa has been an ICAgile Member Organisation since December 2017. Most teams start with ICP, Agile Fundamentals (US$699), or with ICP-FAI, Foundations of AI (US$899).

Where to start, by role

Central Europe: Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary

Teams in Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary join the same live online cohorts as Poland, and all three share Poland's CET time zone, so a cohort starts at the same clock time in Prague, Bratislava and Budapest as in Warsaw. Learners in Czechia and Hungary pay in US dollars at checkout, and learners in Slovakia pay in euros.

How a first engagement usually runs in Poland

Most Polish centres answer to a parent company abroad, so a sensible first step is a short leadership session with the site leaders to agree which processes and teams move first. One lead cohort from that area then trains in Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF), and those people become the internal facilitators for the other teams in the centre.
