ICAgile and AI Training in Fiji

Fiji's outsourcing industry employs more than 9,500 people and is aiming for 15,000 jobs by 2030, with much of the work done for Australian and New Zealand companies. As that work moves from contact centres into finance, HR and IT support, team leads are asked to plan, prioritise and improve work, not just manage a queue. Government departments face a similar shift as more public services move online.

Why teams in Fiji come to us

Outsourcing is moving past the phone queue

Outsource Fiji has said it is preparing the industry for knowledge process and IT outsourcing, and Fiji firms already run HR, finance and IT helpdesk work for overseas clients. That kind of work runs on backlogs, handovers and steady improvement with a client in another country. Facilitation and lean flow skills help team leads in Suva and Nadi keep that work visible and predictable.

A national push to put services online

The National Digital Strategy 2025 to 2030 aims to put 80 per cent of government services online and create 40,000 ICT jobs by 2030. Ministries, statutory bodies and their suppliers will need to deliver digital services in smaller, tested steps rather than one large launch. Agile delivery and a shared grounding in AI give public servants and vendors a common way of working.

Tourism sets the rhythm of the economy

Fiji welcomed a record 986,367 visitors in 2025, and almost half came from Australia. Hotels, tour operators, transport firms and the businesses that serve them plan around seasonal peaks and guest expectations set in Sydney and Auckland. Agile planning and practical AI tools help their leaders improve guest service without adding headcount.

What ICP means, and where to start

ICP stands for ICAgile Certified Professional. The letters after it name the topic, for example ICP-ACC for Agile Coaching. Agile Visa has been an ICAgile Member Organisation since December 2017. Most teams start with ICP, Agile Fundamentals (US$699), or with ICP-FAI, Foundations of AI (US$899).

Where to start, by role

Pacific islands: Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea

Teams in Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea join the same live online cohorts as Fiji, and a company cohort can bring staff from several island offices into one virtual room. Apia and Nuku'alofa are one hour ahead of Suva, Port Vila and Honiara one hour behind, and Port Moresby two hours behind, so an AI micro-credential that starts at 1 PM Singapore time begins between 3 PM and 6 PM across the region.

How a first engagement usually runs in Fiji

A sensible start in Fiji is one company cohort of team leads from your busiest operation, such as a contact centre floor in Suva or a hotel group's office in Nadi, scheduled in Fiji working hours so shifts keep running. Those leads take facilitation and AI skills back to their teams, and a short leadership session helps managers back the change before a wider rollout.
