How do I become a certified Agile Coach with ICP-ACC? +
The ICP-ACC is an ICAgile certification, awarded through accredited member organisations rather than by examination. To earn it you complete an ICAgile-accredited live course covering agile coaching, facilitation, mentoring and team development. Agile Visa, an ICAgile Member Organization founded in 2017 and trusted by 75,000+ professionals across 140+ countries, runs this course. Public cohorts are led by Mansoor Mohammed, a Lean-Agile trainer and consultant with a background in software engineering and product leadership. The certification is lifetime, with no renewal required.
How does ICP-ACC help me and my team? +
You learn when to coach, mentor, teach or facilitate, and you practise professional coaching conversations that help a team solve its own problems. Is ICP-ACC live online or in person? +
Public ICP-ACC cohorts run live online with a trainer, in part-day sessions. For company teams we also run private cohorts, on-site at your premises or live online. Delivered in English. Trainers for Arabic, Spanish, Bahasa Malaysia, German or French can be arranged for company cohorts on request.
How long is the ICP-ACC course? +
ICP-ACC is 18 hours of live, trainer-led training. Upcoming cohorts run as 4 sessions x 4.5 hrs each.
Is there a discount on ICP-ACC? +
Yes, when you book it with a second course. ICP-ACC is part of 4 combos: ICP-ACC + ICP-CAT, ICP-ACC + ICP-ENT, ICP-ACC + ICP-SYS and ICP-ATF + ICP-ACC. Each combo costs 10% less than the two course fees added together. For 6 or more people from one company, we run a dedicated cohort with company pricing: ask us for a quote.
Can my company pay by invoice or purchase order? +
Yes. Company buyers: send the form; we quote, accept purchase orders, complete your supplier onboarding forms (including W-8BEN-E on request), and share tax, insurance and data protection documents directly with your procurement team. Read more: Company invoice or purchase order.
What is included with an ICP-ACC seat? +
Every seat includes the full live, ICAgile-accredited ICP-ACC course, all course materials and your ICAgile ICP-ACC certification, which is valid for life with no renewal fee. The extras that come with every cohort, such as alumni network access, are listed under What's included on this page.
What experience do I need before taking the ICP-ACC training? +
While there are no strict hard prerequisites enforced by ICAgile, we strongly recommend that participants have at least 6 to 12 months of experience working in an Agile environment (such as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Team Lead) to get maximum value.
Is there an exam to pass the ICAgile ICP-ACC certification? +
No. There is no exam. You earn the ICP-ACC certification by completing the full live, ICAgile-accredited course and demonstrating ICAgile's learning outcomes in the sessions. Your trainer assesses this through the class exercises and a final practical assessment, and the certification is then issued to you. It is valid for life.
Does the ICAgile ICP-ACC certification expire? +
No. Unlike some other governing bodies, your ICAgile certification is valid for life. There are no annual renewal fees or continuing education credits required to maintain your ICP-ACC credential.
Is the ICP-ACC certification recognized globally? +
Yes. ICAgile is an international accreditation and certification body, and it defines the same learning outcomes for every member organisation that teaches the ICP-ACC. So the certification means the same thing wherever you took the course, and it is valid for life.
What is the difference between an Agile Coach and a Scrum Master? +
While a Scrum Master focuses on team-level facilitation within the Scrum framework, an Agile Coach operates at the enterprise level. An Agile Coach works across multiple teams, coaches leadership, and drives systemic organizational transformation using various Agile frameworks.
How do I transition from a Project Manager to an Agile Coach? +
Transitioning requires a shift from command-and-control task management to servant leadership and systemic thinking. The ICP-ACC provides the exact professional coaching stances and mentoring frameworks needed to make this career pivot successfully.
What frameworks are covered in the ICP-ACC training? +
