We start with a Training Needs Analysis

Before any agenda is set, we run a Training Needs Analysis. This is a short, structured discovery process where we understand your operating context, current ways of working, team maturity and the business outcomes you want from the investment. The output is a tailored curriculum, not a slide deck pulled off a shelf.

This matters because agile maturity varies widely inside a single company. A delivery team that has run sprints for three years needs something different from a leadership group that is sponsoring a transformation for the first time. The needs analysis lets us pitch the content at the right altitude for each audience and sequence the learning so it sticks.

What in-house training can cover

Where an ICAgile certification is included, it is awarded for life. ICAgile is instructor-assessed and carries no renewal fee and no continuing-education obligation. It is worth being clear-eyed about how this compares to other credentials, because procurement teams ask.

Frequently asked questions

How many people do we need for an in-house cohort to make sense?

In-house training is usually worth it from around six participants upward, where the cost per head and the relevance both move in your favour. That said, smaller leadership groups often run private sessions because the conversation is sensitive and specific. Tell us your group size on the discovery call and we will advise honestly on whether a private cohort or a public seat is the better fit.

Can you deliver onsite at our office and also for remote staff?

Yes. We deliver onsite at your premises for full immersion, and live online for distributed or multi-site teams. Both formats are fully interactive working sessions, not recorded webinars. Many clients run a hybrid rollout, an onsite kickoff for one site followed by live online cohorts for others. We will recommend the format during the Training Needs Analysis based on your team locations and goals.

What is the Training Needs Analysis and why do you insist on it?

It is a short structured discovery step before we design anything. We learn your operating context, current ways of working, team maturity and the business outcomes you want. The result is a curriculum tailored to your teams rather than a generic syllabus. We insist on it because agile maturity varies inside one company, and pitching content at the wrong level wastes everyone's time and your budget.

Do you include AI training, or just agile and scrum?

We include applied AI for agile teams as a core option. That means hands-on practice with current AI tooling for backlog refinement, documentation, testing and delivery flow, so your teams leave able to use these tools in real work. Will participants receive a certification, and does it expire?

Where an ICAgile certification is included, it is awarded for life with no renewal fee and no continuing-education requirement. ICAgile is instructor-assessed within the course. For comparison, Scrum.org credentials are also lifetime, while Scrum Alliance renews roughly every two years and SAFe renews annually, both with fees. We will confirm which certification applies to your chosen track during scoping.
