Coaching Agile Transformations (ICP-CAT) is an advanced ICAgile certification on coaching leadership and culture change during an agile transformation. It covers leadership styles and organisational culture, enterprise agile coaching skills, culture models and culture assessment, and how organisations and people go through change. You earn it through a live ICAgile-accredited course, and it is valid for life.
How does ICP-CAT help me and my team? +
You learn to assess organisational culture, engage leaders in the change and choose interventions that fit how your organisation really works, including how to handle resistance. For your transformation programme, it means guidance from someone who can work with leadership and culture, not only with team practices.
Which job roles does ICP-CAT prepare me for? +

How much does the ICP-CAT certification cost? +

Is ICP-CAT live online or in person? +
Public ICP-CAT cohorts run live online with a trainer, in part-day sessions. For company teams we also run private cohorts, on-site at your premises or live online. Delivered in English. Trainers for Arabic, Spanish, Bahasa Malaysia, German or French can be arranged for company cohorts on request.
How long is the ICP-CAT course? +
ICP-CAT is 16 hours of live, trainer-led training. Upcoming cohorts run as 4 sessions x 4 hrs.
Is there a discount on ICP-CAT? +
Yes, when you book it with a second course. ICP-CAT is part of 2 combos: ICP-ACC + ICP-CAT and ICP-ENT + ICP-CAT. Each combo costs 10% less than the two course fees added together. For 6 or more people from one company, we run a dedicated cohort with company pricing: ask us for a quote.
Can my company pay by invoice or purchase order? +
Yes. Company buyers: send the form; we quote, accept purchase orders, complete your supplier onboarding forms (including W-8BEN-E on request), and share tax, insurance and data protection documents directly with your procurement team. Read more: Company invoice or purchase order.
Can I cancel or move my seat? +
Yes. With 16 or more days notice before the first class day, you get a 90% refund; the 10% administrative fee is non-refundable. With 8 to 15 days notice, you get a 50% refund, or you can move once to a later cohort for a 10% administrative fee, which is non-refundable. With 7 days notice or less, there is no refund. What is included with an ICP-CAT seat? +
Every seat includes the full live, ICAgile-accredited ICP-CAT course, all course materials and your ICAgile ICP-CAT certification, which is valid for life with no renewal fee. The extras that come with every cohort, such as alumni network access, are listed under What's included on this page.
Are there prerequisites for ICP-CAT? +
There are no formal entry requirements for ICP-CAT. ICAgile recommends relevant hands-on experience for professional-level certifications, and the trainer meets each cohort where it is.
Is there an exam for the ICP-CAT certification? +
No. There is no exam. You earn the ICP-CAT certification by completing the full live, ICAgile-accredited course and demonstrating ICAgile's learning outcomes in the sessions. Your trainer assesses this through the class exercises and a final practical assessment, and the certification is then issued to you. It is valid for life.
Do I need to complete ICP-ENT before taking ICP-CAT? +
While it is not strictly mandatory, it is highly recommended. ICP-ENT gives you the foundational understanding of enterprise structures, making the complex transformation strategies taught in ICP-CAT much easier to execute.
How does ICP-CAT differ from ICP-ENT? +
Both are advanced enterprise coaching certifications. ICP-ENT focuses on enterprise systems, organisation design and leadership coaching. ICP-CAT focuses on designing, leading and sustaining the transformation itself: leadership styles, culture and the human side of change. Together they complete ICAgile's Enterprise Coaching track.
Will this course teach me how to implement SAFe? +
No. ICP-CAT is framework-agnostic. Rather than teaching one framework such as SAFe, it teaches the principles of organisational change and culture that help any scaling approach, including SAFe or LeSS, work in practice.
Does the course cover how to handle resistance to change? +
Absolutely. Managing organizational friction, identifying systemic bottlenecks, and overcoming executive and middle-management resistance are core components of the ICP-CAT curriculum.
Is the ICP-CAT suitable for traditional Change Managers? +
Yes. Traditional organizational change management professionals find immense value in this course, as it bridges the gap between classic change management theory and modern, iterative Agile transformation practices.
