Certification guide
What is ICP-LPM?
ICP-LPM is the ICAgile Certified Professional in Lean Portfolio Management. It covers funding and governing many streams of work at once: lean budgeting, portfolio prioritisation, and connecting strategy to what teams actually deliver.
Who is ICP-LPM for?
PMO leads, portfolio managers, finance partners and senior delivery managers who steer investment across initiatives rather than running one of them.
How do you earn the ICP-LPM certification?
You earn ICP-LPM by completing an accredited 14 hour live course with an ICAgile member organisation such as Agile Visa. There is no exam: ICAgile certifications are assessment-based, earned through participation in the exercises and activities of the class. The credential is lifetime and never needs renewal.
Does ICP-LPM expire?
No. Like every ICAgile certification, ICP-LPM is a lifetime credential with no renewal fees or continuing education requirements.
How much does ICP-LPM cost?
With Agile Visa the ICP-LPM course is US$1,299 as a live global cohort, with regional pricing shown at checkout.
Is ICP-LPM worth it?
For the right role, yes. ICP-LPM certifies Lean Portfolio Management competency through assessed live practice rather than an exam, it is internationally recognised through ICAgile, and it is a lifetime credential, so the fee is paid once and never again. It is worth least if you only want a badge: the value comes from the capability the live course builds. The "who it is for" section above is the honest test.
Where it sits in the ICAgile tracks
ICP-LPM is the portfolio-level ICAgile certification and a natural step after team and delivery level credentials such as ICP-APM.
