What is ICP-APO?
ICP-APO is the ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Product Ownership. It covers the product owner role done properly: forming and communicating product direction, working with backlogs and priorities by value, and collaborating with both stakeholders and the delivery team.
Who is ICP-APO for?
Product owners, business analysts and managers stepping into product ownership of a team or product area.
How do you earn the ICP-APO certification?
You earn ICP-APO by completing an accredited 14 hour live course with an ICAgile member organisation such as Agile Visa. There is no exam: ICAgile certifications are assessment-based, earned through participation in the exercises and activities of the class. The credential is lifetime and never needs renewal.
Does ICP-APO expire?
No. Like every ICAgile certification, ICP-APO is a lifetime credential with no renewal fees or continuing education requirements.
How much does ICP-APO cost?
With Agile Visa the ICP-APO course is US$899 as a live global cohort, with regional pricing shown at checkout.
Is ICP-APO worth it?
For the right role, yes. ICP-APO certifies Agile Product Ownership competency through assessed live practice rather than an exam, it is internationally recognised through ICAgile, and it is a lifetime credential, so the fee is paid once and never again.
