Certification guide
What is ICP-FAI?
ICP-FAI is the ICAgile Certified Professional in Foundations of AI. It is a foundational certification covering what artificial intelligence actually is and is not: core concepts, machine learning and generative AI basics, practical application at work, limitations, and the ethical questions that come with using it responsibly.
Who is ICP-FAI for?
Professionals of any background. No technical experience or coding is required, which is the point: it certifies AI literacy for the people who will use AI at work, not build it.
How do you earn the ICP-FAI certification?
You earn ICP-FAI by completing an accredited 14-hour live course with an ICAgile member organisation such as Agile Visa. There is no exam: ICAgile certifications are assessment-based, earned through participation in the exercises and activities of the class. The credential is lifetime and never needs renewal.
Does ICP-FAI expire?
No. Like every ICAgile certification, ICP-FAI is a lifetime credential with no renewal fees or continuing education requirements.
How much does ICP-FAI cost?
With Agile Visa the live online ICP-FAI course costs US$899 per seat. The price box on the course page shows the seat price for your country.
What does ICP-FAI help you do?
ICP-FAI helps you use AI at work with confidence. You learn what AI can and cannot do, how to write effective prompts and how to use it responsibly, with no coding needed. It is a lifetime ICAgile credential with no renewal fee.
Where it sits in the ICAgile tracks
ICP-FAI is the entry point of the ICAgile AI track and a common first certification for teams building AI literacy.
