What is ICP-FAI?
ICP-FAI is the ICAgile Certified Professional in Foundations of AI. It is a foundational certification covering what artificial intelligence actually is and is not: core concepts, machine learning and generative AI basics, practical application at work, limitations, and the ethical questions that come with using it responsibly.
Who is ICP-FAI for?
Professionals of any background. No technical experience or coding is required, which is the point: it certifies AI literacy for the people who will use AI at work, not build it.
How do you earn the ICP-FAI certification?
You earn ICP-FAI by completing an accredited 14 hour live course with an ICAgile member organisation such as Agile Visa. There is no exam: ICAgile certifications are assessment-based, earned through participation in the exercises and activities of the class. The credential is lifetime and never needs renewal.
Does ICP-FAI expire?
No. Like every ICAgile certification, ICP-FAI is a lifetime credential with no renewal fees or continuing education requirements.
How much does ICP-FAI cost?
With Agile Visa the ICP-FAI course is US$899 as a live global cohort, with regional pricing shown at checkout.
Is ICP-FAI worth it?
For the right role, yes. ICP-FAI certifies Foundations of AI competency through assessed live practice rather than an exam, it is internationally recognised through ICAgile, and it is a lifetime credential, so the fee is paid once and never again.
