Union Training Assistance Programme. NTUC members can claim part of course fees after completion through the e2i portal, up to SGD 250 a year under 40 or SGD 500 a year for 40 and above, when a course is UTAP supported.
Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above receive a base SGD 500, with age based top ups. It applies only to SSG funded or approved courses.
Singapore Citizens aged 40 and above can receive a high subsidy on WSQ accredited courses, the biggest cost reducer for the 40 plus learner once a course is WSQ accredited.
Employers receive credit toward workforce capability building, useful for cohorts on senior or sector vertical programmes.
SMEs can claim support on approved AI capability building scope, useful for owner operators and key staff.
The schemes combine. A Singapore Citizen aged 40 and above who is also an NTUC member could, on an approved WSQ course, pay only a small fraction of the published fee once MCES, SkillsFuture Credit, and UTAP are applied in sequence. Until those approvals clear, the full fee applies.
Where a funding scheme applies to a course, the eligible price is shown on that course page and confirmed at enrollment.
Agile Visa is in the SSG Registered Training Provider application cycle, with WSQ accreditation targeted for later in 2026. UTAP support is pursued separately through NTUC. Timelines depend on the approving bodies.
When approved, an SSG subsidy is applied first to reduce the published fee, then SkillsFuture Credit offsets part of the remaining net fee, and schemes such as UTAP apply to the unfunded balance within their caps.
Once eligibility clears, employers can apply SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit toward corporate cohorts. We deliver private cohorts for groups of 6 or more. Contact us for a quotation.
