Module 1: AI Foundations for the Non Technical Professional (2 hours)
A brief history of AI from rule based systems to transformer models, explained without jargon. How large language models actually work in plain language. The distinction between general AI, generative AI, and agentic AI, and which is appropriate for which workplace use case.
Module 2: The CARE Prompt Framework and 10 Prompt Patterns (3 hours)
The CARE framework (Context, Action, Reference, Examples) for designing effective prompts. Ten reusable prompt patterns for common workplace tasks: summarisation, drafting, analysis, brainstorming, research, translation, planning, decision support, role play, and chain of thought reasoning.
Module 3: Multi Modal AI: Text, Image, Voice, Video (2 hours)
Beyond ChatGPT. Hands on with image generation, voice synthesis, video creation, and audio transcription tools. Selection criteria and when each modality fits a workplace use case.
Module 4: Your Personal AI Stack and Tool Setup (2 hours)
A guided walkthrough of the 8 to 12 essential AI tools for Singapore knowledge workers, with setup instructions, free vs paid tier guidance, and integration with Singapore workplace systems (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Notion).
Module 5: Singapore Compliance and the AI Governance Map (2 hours)
PDPA compliance for AI inputs and outputs. MAS FEAT principles for regulated sector use. TAFEP guidance on AI in HR decisions. Model AI Governance Framework practical application. How to do AI safely in your specific Singapore workplace.
Module 6: Agentic AI Preview and the Path Ahead (1.5 hours)
A practical introduction to agentic AI workflows for non technical users. What is an AI agent, how is it different from prompts, and what should non technical professionals start preparing for now.
Module 7: Your 60 Day AI Deployment Plan (1.5 hours)
A guided workshop where each participant designs and commits to a 60 day plan to deploy AI in one specific workflow in their actual job. Pair work, peer review, and trainer feedback. Participants leave with a written plan and accountability structure.
