Is ICP-PDM live online or in person? +
Public ICP-PDM cohorts run live online with a trainer, in part-day sessions. For company teams we also run private cohorts, on-site at your premises or live online. Delivered in English. Trainers for Arabic, Spanish, Bahasa Malaysia, German or French can be arranged for company cohorts on request.
How long is the ICP-PDM course? +
ICP-PDM is 14 hours of live, trainer-led training. Upcoming cohorts run as 2 sessions x 6 hrs each.
Is there a discount on ICP-PDM? +
Yes, when you book it with a second course. ICP-PDM is part of 1 combo: ICP-APM + ICP-PDM. Each combo costs 10% less than the two course fees added together. For 6 or more people from one company, we run a dedicated cohort with company pricing: ask us for a quote.
Can my company pay by invoice or purchase order? +
Yes. Company buyers: send the form; we quote, accept purchase orders, complete your supplier onboarding forms (including W-8BEN-E on request), and share tax, insurance and data protection documents directly with your procurement team. Read more: Company invoice or purchase order.
Can I cancel or move my seat? +
Yes. With 16 or more days notice before the first class day, you get a 90% refund; the 10% administrative fee is non-refundable. With 8 to 15 days notice, you get a 50% refund, or you can move once to a later cohort for a 10% administrative fee, which is non-refundable. With 7 days notice or less, there is no refund. What is included with an ICP-PDM seat? +
Every seat includes the full live, ICAgile-accredited ICP-PDM course, all course materials and your ICAgile ICP-PDM certification, which is valid for life with no renewal fee. The extras that come with every cohort, such as alumni network access, are listed under What's included on this page.
Can I claim PMI PDUs for ICP-PDM? +
Yes, as self-reported hours. PMI credential holders can report the live hours of ICP-PDM as Education PDUs under Courses or Training, one PDU per hour, and keep the ICAgile certificate as evidence (PMI Continuing Certification Requirements Handbook, April 2026). Agile Visa is not a PMI Authorized Training Partner, so these hours are self-reported rather than pre-approved.
What are the prerequisites for the ICP-PDM training? +
We strongly recommend participants have prior experience in product development or hold the ICP-APO (Agile Product Ownership) certification to maximize their learning experience.
Is there an exam for the ICAgile ICP-PDM certification? +
No. There is no exam. You earn the ICP-PDM certification by completing the full live, ICAgile-accredited course and demonstrating ICAgile's learning outcomes in the sessions. Your trainer assesses this through the class exercises and a final practical assessment, and the certification is then issued to you. It is valid for life.
Does the ICP-PDM certification expire? +
No. The ICAgile Product Management credential is valid for life with no annual renewal fees.
What is the difference between Product Management and Product Ownership? +
Product Ownership (ICP-APO) focuses primarily on backlog execution and team delivery. Product Management (ICP-PDM) is a broader, strategic role focused on market research, product-market fit, long-term vision, and lifecycle strategy.
What does an Agile Product Manager do? +
An Agile Product Manager defines the product vision, conducts user research, designs outcome-oriented roadmaps, validates hypotheses, and ensures the product achieves commercial success in the market.
Does the ICP-PDM cover product discovery and hypothesis testing? +
Yes. A major module of the course is dedicated to designing hypothesis tests, running lean experiments, and validating ideas with real users before investing time and money into development.
