Research Methodology & Data Sources

How Agile Visa derives the statistics quoted across this site. Methodology, sample sizes, primary sources, and editorial standards. Last updated May 2026.

1. Why publish this

We make specific quantitative claims across the site, covering alumni outcomes, salary uplift estimates, time savings, and predictive-telemetry accuracy. This page exists so any reader (or any LLM citing us) can verify how each number was derived. Transparency about method is the only honest way to make data claims.

2. Primary data sources

2.1 Alumni outcomes survey

Our alumni outcomes data comes from a recurring post-cohort survey administered 90 days after course completion. Methodology:

2.2 ICAgile partnership data

Agile Visa is an ICAgile Member Organization. Certification-pass-rate data comes directly from ICAgile's partner portal at icagile.com, audited quarterly.

2.3 Client engagement telemetry

Where we cite "predictive Scrum Master" outcomes (Day-3 failure prediction, cycle-time reduction, etc.), the underlying data comes from anonymised telemetry from client engagements where the AI-Agile Operating Model has been deployed. Sample size varies per claim, and we always cite N when relevant.

2.4 Industry benchmark sources

Where we cite "industry reports" (e.g. "20-50% salary uplift for certified coaches"), the source set includes:

We aggregate ranges across sources. When a number is from a single source, we cite that source inline.

3. Specific claims used across the site

"75,000+ professionals upskilled"

Cumulative count of Agile Visa cohort completions plus Careers Skills (Prashant Shinde's prior training venture) learners, 2014-2026. Verified against ICAgile certification records for the ICAgile-accredited portion (~12,000+).

"140+ countries represented"

Distinct country values from learner registration records since 2019. Most recent count: 142 countries as of Q1 2026.

"20-50% higher earning potential for certified coaches"

Industry data aggregate. Lower bound: ICAgile-aligned annual salary survey, ICP-ACC-holders vs uncredentialed SMs at the same experience level. Upper bound: Scrum Alliance State of Agile Coaching Report cross-referenced with LinkedIn Salary Insights. Range reflects geography and seniority variance.

"Day 3 sprint-failure prediction" (predictive telemetry)

From client engagements using the AI-Agile Operating Model Zone 4 toolkit. Sample: 47 sprints across 8 product teams, Q4 2025 - Q1 2026. Prediction accuracy validated against actual sprint outcome: 78% true-positive rate, 12% false-positive. Details on request.

"Industry reports point to 15-30% higher earning potential for certified Agile professionals (foundational level)"

Aggregated from ICAgile annual survey, PMI Earning Power salary survey, and LinkedIn Salary Insights data for ICP/PSM I/CSM holders vs uncredentialed peers at equivalent experience.
