What is Hypothesis-Driven Development?
Hypothesis-Driven Development frames every new feature as an experiment to be validated or invalidated by user data, rather than a guaranteed requirement.
Format: 'We believe that [building this feature] for [these users] will achieve [this business outcome]. We will know we are successful when we see [this measurable data].'
This mindset shift prevents teams from falling in love with their solutions. If the feature is deployed and the data doesn't move, the Product Owner must have the discipline to remove the feature rather than letting it bloat the codebase.
